William Buick in hospital undergoing tests and misses the Dante meeting
William Buick will miss the Dante meeting at York this week and is undergoing tests at Addenbrooke's Hospital after feeling unwell over the weekend.
The Derby-winning jockey was in action at Ascot on Saturday and rode a winner for Charlie Appleby aboard newcomer Expressionist.
But he subsequently felt unwell and will now take the week off while awaiting test results, his employer Godolphin revealed on Monday.
Buick had some exciting rides to look forward to at York, including Line Of Duty in the Group 2 Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Dante Stakes and Ispolini in the Group 2 Matchbook Yorkshire Cup Stakes.
