Friday's meeting at Musselburgh goes ahead as frost fails to bite
Friday's meeting at Musselburgh, which was subject to an inspection at 8am, has been given the go-ahead.
The seven-race card had been threatened by snow and frost, but officials were satisfied conditions were fine, so a decision to race was taken just before 6.30am.
A dry and breezy day is forecast with high temperatures of 4C.
The going is described as soft and racing starts at 12.50, ten minutes before Lingfield's Flat all-weather fixture is due to begin.
All-weather action also takes place at Dundalk (4.00 start) and Chelmsford (4.45) on Friday, but the meeting at Ffos Las was lost to waterlogging on Thursday.
