Three runners who catch the eye at Wolverhampton tonight
Wolverhampton takes over at 4.15 with an eight-race card that carries on until 7.45. Here are three runners to look out for at Dunstall Park
Followthesteps
4.45 Wolverhampton
This novice contest is not strong and Blame Culture has recent form, which puts him at the head of the betting rather by default. If fit, Followthesteps, who won when last seen in June 2017, could be able to give him 7lb.
Followthesteps won over five furlongs that day but is bred for seven furlongs, while Blame Culture's form is largely over further. This is a market to monitor closely.
Storm Trooper
5.15 Wolverhampton
Rated 46, Storm Trooper finished second among a bunch of horses rated slightly higher than him over course and distance on Wednesday, giving weight away in a few cases. As such, he looks pretty well treated back in a handicap five days on and the money has trickled in for him all day.
Elenora Delight
7.45 Wolverhampton
On her first attempt in handicaps last time, over a mile, Elenora Delight shaped quite well before fading. The subsequent drop to 7f for this race, and her still-unexposed profile, make her a likely type in this fairly pedestrian handicap. The market has been speaking in her favour all morning and into the afternoon.
