Three runners to note under lights at Dundalk and Wolverhampton tonight
Dundalk and Wolverhampton both stage competitive cards on Friday evening and here are three runners to note.
Rita Levi
7.00 Dundalk
Rita Levi has shown some fair form in maiden company and promises to be suited by this step up to 7f on her handicap debut.
Ger Lyons went through something of a lean spell recently but he snapped the losing run at Naas on Sunday and this filly, making her all-weather debut, can take advantage of a fair mark to provide the yard with another success.
Great Beyond
7.45 Wolverhampton
Great Beyond was disappointing at Yarmouth last time but he had previously run out a 12-length winner of a handicap over this course and distance and should be given another chance on his return to Tapeta.
A handicap is rarely won with such authority and a 10lb higher mark may not be enough to stop a horse so unexposed on the all-weather.
Oskemen9.15 Wolverhampton
Oskemen has performed with credit on three of his four starts for Archie Watson and with blinkers applied for the first time might find enough improvement to get off the mark at the 12th attempt.
A bitterly disappointing favourite on his penultimate outing, Oskemen bounced right back to his best when a close-up third at Kempton last time, suggesting he is not on a bad mark, and the good form of the Watson yard (eight runners from 16 have either won or placed in the past week) is a plus.
