Three runners to note at Down Royal, Kempton and Musselburgh tonight
There's something for everyone this evening with Flat cards at Down Royal, Kempton and Musselburgh, while Kilbeggan stages a jumps fixture. Here are three runners it could be worth noting
Aphaea
5.30 Musselburgh
Since going handicapping this filly has taken her form to a new level, winning at Wolverhampton before finishing third off an 8lb higher mark next time out at Thirsk.
She has only made five career starts and remains open to further progress.
Dandhu
7.15 Kempton
This David Elsworth-trained juvenile has shown promise on both starts, and remains capable of better.
Each time at Newmarket she has displayed ability, mixed in with some inexperience. If she has come on again from her most recent outing when fourth, she could turn around form with the Simon Crisford-trained Imperial Charm, who finished a neck ahead of her that day.
Venezia
7.20 Down Royal
Stamina is what is required for the West Coast Cooler Rose Ulster Cesarewitch Handicap, and Venezia is a proven stayer.
The seven-year-old has been a largely consistent performer through the summer, and although he has only won once on the Flat from 21 previous attempts, he should be in the mix.
