Three runners who catch the eye at Ballinrobe, Windsor and Wolverhampton
On a bumper day of Flat action, there's a triple header this evening with meetings at Ballinrobe, Windsor and Wolverhampton. Here's three runners it may be worth noting.
Still Standing
5.50 Ballinrobe
The dream team of Jessica Harrington and Colm O'Donoghue enjoyed another day in the sun yesterday with Alpha Centauri, and could have another winner with this three-year-old.
Although not seen since November, Still Standing won his maiden at Naas nicely. That form does not have masses of substance, but Harrington's colt could be better than his opening mark of 81.
Dubai Silk
8.00 Windsor
A course and distance winner last time out, Dubai Silk doesn't have many miles on the clock and the form of that May win has worked out very well.
It has produced plenty of winners, with the runner-up, Kimifive, and third, How Far, now rated in the 90s. If able to dominate again as she did last time, Dubai Silk could take some catching.
Pheidippides
8.10 Wolverhampton
It is a bit of a surprise Pheidippides has not got his head in front yet, but he has been running consistently and might be able to shed his maiden tag this evening.
The Tom Clover-trained three-year-old possibly does not have much room for manoeuvre off a mark of 80, but is a solid conveyance, and Clover has his team in decent order.
