Kempton and Newcastle stage racing this evening and it could be worth keeping an eye on these three . . .

Almashriq
5.45 Newcastle
Having fetched $1.2 million as a yearling, all eyes will be on this exciting newcomer for John Gosden. By War Front and out of a Group 3 winner, Almashriq is Jim Crowley's only ride on the card and has been well supported to make a winning start for a trainer who has a 50 per cent strike-rate with debutants at the course.

Architecture
6.30 Kempton
The Hugo Palmer-trained Architecture has not won for more than three years but has displayed strong form and looks to have a leading chance in the Listed Wild Flower Stakes. Architecture finished runner-up in the Oaks and Irish Oaks in 2016 and, having endured a disappointing campaign in 2017, shaped with real promise at this venue last month on her first start this year.

Marseille
8.15 Newcastle
This Julie Camacho-trained sprinter has not reached the level of her siblings Marsha and Judicial, but looks to have a good chance here. The four-year-old disappointed in the early stages of the campaign but ran with real encouragement to secure a share of third at Wolverhampton on her return from a four-month break, and the drop to five furlongs from six is not a problem.
