A huge Saturday of action sees day one of the Dublin Racing Festival kick off at Leopardstown, while there is also aGrade 1 contest at Sandown and ITV racing at Musselburgh and Wetherby on a busy day in Britain.

Read on to get the best of what the trainers have to offer before racing.

Saturday racecards|Big-race tips|Watch In The Know

Saturday: 1.05 Leopardstown
Nathaniel Lacy & Partners Solicitors '€50,000 Cheltenham Bonus For Stable Staff' Novice Hurdle, Grade 1, 2m6f

Willie Mullins, trainer of Bronn:

"Bronn's Naas form has worked out well. I think this trip will be right up his street and think the experience from his last run will stand him in good stead – he was very green that day and will be a lot better here."

Overnight price: 13-2

1.35 Leopardstown
Spring Juvenile Hurdle, Grade 1, 2m

Gordon Elliott, trainer ofFil Dor:

"Fil Dor has done nothing wrong so far. He doesn't do anything fancy and even during his races he gives the impression that he just does what he has to do.

"I told Davy [Russell] that I was worried watching him last time at Leopardstown but he told me that, when he gave him a slap down the neck, he picked up well and there was plenty left in the tank, which was interesting. He's in good form and he's well. This is his biggest task so far and Vauban looks the one to beat."

Overnight price: 6-4

The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' three each-way wagers on Saturday

2.20 Sandown
Virgin Bet Scilly Isles Novices' Chase, Grade 1, 2m4f

Paul Nicholls, trainer of Pic D’Orhy:

"He hasn't been the most straightforward to get his jumping together but he did jump well at Ascot last time.

"He may have learned from Newbury [where he fell in November when looking the likely winner]. He'll love the ground. Normal, testing ground wouldn't have suited him. It'll be an interesting race.

"If he jumps well, he must have a good chance. He's such a big horse, he's needed all of this time to fill his frame out and mature. He was always going to be a better horse as he got older."

Overnight price: 2-1

Paul Kealy's Saturday banker at Musselburgh

3.15 Leopardstown
Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup, Grade 1, 3m½f

Henry de Bromhead, trainer of Minella Indo:

"He was a bit shook when he came back off the lorry after the King George and wasn't himself, but he's actually back in great form now and I'm delighted with him. He's come right back to himself and I'm really happy with him anyway."

Overnight price: 7-2

3.30 Sandown
Virgin Bet Masters Handicap Chase, 3m

Olly Murphy, trainer of Linelee King:

"He was an unlucky loser at Ayr and has come out of it well. We're chucking him in at the deep end but he jumps well and has an each-way chance."

Overnight price: 4-1
