September could make a belated reappearance in next Saturday's Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh after recovering from the muscle problem that kept her out of the British equivalent.

The daughter of Deep Impact and Peeping Fawn won the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot last season and in the autumn was denied a clear run when beaten by Laurens in the Fillies Mile at Newmarket.

She ended her juvenile campaign at the Breeders' Cup in Del Mar, where she finished strongly for third in the Juvenile Fillies Turf.

Trainer Aidan O'Brien said: "September is back in full training after a muscle problem and we're hoping to run her in the Irish Oaks. She's being trained with the race in mind and we'll make a decision late next week.

"If we think she is ready, she'll run, but she'd definitely come on a good bit for the race. We're looking at an autumn campaign with her."

O'Brien's team for the Irish Oaks, a race he has won five times, includes Forever Together, who after winning the Oaks at Epsom finished second in the Pretty Polly Stakes, and Magic Wand, the four-length winner of the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot last month.
