Racing TV is set for the busiest Saturday since its launch as all nine meetings in Britain and Ireland will be broadcast on the channel.

There are six afternoon meetings plus a twilight card at Bellewstown beginning at 4.40pm, which means at its busiest seven races will have to be squeezed in a half-hour period.

There are also evening meetings at Nottingham and Carlisle.

Those at Racing TV are hoping races are sent off on time to minimise the need for split-screen coverage.

Spokesman Seb Vance said: "Providing all races are run on schedule, split-screens will be kept to a minimum. However, we fully accept we may have to show some races simultaneously.

"It will be an extremely action-packed day and we'll be fully equipped to cover all the fixtures to the best of our ability.

"Angus McNae, Rachel Casey, Chris Dixon and Dave Nevison will be in the studio to guide viewers through what will be a fast-and-furious schedule."

Nick Luck and James Willoughby will be on duty at Sandown, with Stewart Machin at Haydock, Peter Naughton and Andrew Sheret at Carlisle and Gary O'Brien and Fran Berry at Bellewstown.
