One trainer, one jockey, one horse and one race to watch on Saturday
One trainer
It is an important weekend for John Gosden and his Prix du Jockey Club scorer Mishriff will bid to start it with a bang in the Group 2 Prix Guillaume D'Ornano (1.35) at Deauville.
Over in Britain, the champion trainer has a number of potentially high-class recruits to represent him including Guru in the Listed Denford Stakes (1.50) at Newbury and Senita in a novice contest (1.40) at Doncaster.
Watch Guru win on his debut at Newbury
One jockey
The all-conquering Hollie Doyle has made huge progress this season and is booked for her first Group 1 ride on Dame Malliot in the Preis von Europa (12.00) at Cologne.
Having partnered Anthony Oppenheimer's imposing mare to success in the Group 2 Princess of Wales's Tattersalls Stakes at Newmarket, the pair step up in a bid to give retiring trainer Ed Vaughan a first success at the top level. Among their six rivals is the Charlie Appleby-trained Barney Roy, a Group 1 winner in Germany last time.
One horse
Dream Of Dreams holds the best form in the Unibet Hungerford Stakes (3.35) at Newbury having finished a head behind both Blue Point and Hello Youmzain in the last two runnings of the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. He beat the reopposing Glorious Journey in a Listed contest at Windsor last year and, on his best efforts, should be a tough nut to crack.

One race
The Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Geoffrey Freer Stakes (3.00) looks a particularly competitive affair with Royal Ascot hero Hukum stepping up to Group company for the first time.
Derby runner Max Vega takes a step down in class in a bid to add to last year's Zetland Stakes success, while the likes of Sextant, Morando, Communique and Tritonic are very useful types in their own right.
