David Menuisier is eyeing a tilt at next month’s Coral-Eclipse with Danceteria after the progressive four-year-old starred in a week that left the trainer feeling on top of the world.

Danceteria was one of five winners from just eight runners for Menuisier over the past seven days, and the trainer admits his voice is beginning to feel the consequences of shouting his horses home.

History Writer provided Menuisier with his fifth win of the week when he scored in front of the ITV cameras at Sandown and his trainer said on Sunday: "It's been great. I am absolutely thrilled.

"Everyone in the yard is happy but my voice is a bit gone from shouting a lot this week! It's incredible for us. I have 25 horses and a handful two-year-olds who haven't run so it's massive for all of us."

Menuisier struck at Group level for the first time when Thundering Blue won at York last season and Danceteria is emulating that stable favourite by continuing to progress from handicaps to the top level in his four-year-old campaign.

The Coral-Eclipse on July 6, for which Danceteria is 66-1, is his next target after winning the Group 3 La Coupe by a length.

Menuisier said: "We don't have an awful lot of options now he has won a Group 3 but the Eclipse falls at the right time in the calendar and it’s worth having a go.

"His big target is the Group 1 in Germany [Bayerisches Zuchtrennen on July 28]. He thrives on his racing – that is why he looked a little bit rusty in the Brigadier Gerard – so he will benefit from a run before then. We're excited to give it a go."

He added of Thundering Blue: "Thundering Blue is grand. He takes a few runs to get going and I was delighted with him when he was third at Goodwood – I thought he ran a stormer. The plan is to go to the Group 1 Grand Prix Saint-Cloud on June 30."

Menuisier will hope to continue his hot form into Royal Ascot where he believes Migration could hold a big chance in the Britannia Stakes, provided he gets in.

"It's touch and go whether he gets in but that would be unfortunate because it's been his target for two months," he added. "We'll sit tight and hope for the best, but he's in great form and he could run a stormer."
