Hollie Doyle and Johnny Murtagh feature in new ITV4 sporting documentary series
A new ten-part sporting documentary series on ITV4 featuring some of the top stars in horseracing will kick off with a feature on Hollie Doyle on Tuesday evening.
The series, titled 'Against The Odds', aims to deliver unique insight and focus on individuals who overcame personal adversity or an unconventional route to defy the odds and become champions in their respective sports.
It begins with the multiple Group 1-winning jockey, who enjoyed big-race success again with Trueshan in the Long Distance Cup on Champions Day last Saturday.
The opening episode of the series, which has been produced by ITV and funded by Coral, will be broadcast at 9pm and each episode will be presented by the channel's leading sports presenters, including ITV Racing's own Ed Chamberlin, Francesca Cumani and Oli Bell.
Future episodes will also include Guy Disney, the first amputee jockey to win a race in Britain when successful in the Royal Artillery Gold Cup in 2017, five-time Irish Flat champion jockey and trainer Johnny Murtagh and a special episode before the Cheltenham Festival on the great Desert Orchid.
Coral's David Stevens said: "At Coral we share a passion for sport with our customers, and in joining forces with ITV Sport, we will be able to bring to life some of the most inspirational sporting stories, that truly live up to the billing of being 'Against The Odds'.
"It's entirely fitting that the first episode looks at the incredible career of Hollie Doyle, a record-breaking jockey who once again showed why she's made it to the top of her sport with victory on Trueshan at Ascot on Saturday.
"We're sure her story will be of interest to both racing fans and those less familiar with her achievements."
