Finding the winner of the Tingle Creek Chase made all the difference in climbing the Tote Ten To Follow leaderboard last weekend, with Greaneteen picked by all the stables in the top 14.

Overall, just 2.7 per cent of stables included the Paul Nicholls two-miler in their ten at the start of the competition and were duly rewarded with Greaneteen claiming 66.4 points, which included 25 additional points as the Sandown feature was the third TTF bonus race of the campaign.

The win placed Greaneteen in third spot in the rankings of leading horses, with Commander Of Fleet now second as the only horse to score more points in the past week thanks to his surprise Navan success which yielded a Tote win dividend of 55.40.

Just William 3 9, the leaderboard front runner, had their team's tally boosted by three Willie Mullins-trained winners. Allaho was the biggest points scorer with 29.8 points thanks to his success in the John Durkan, while Concertista notched 23.9 points in a Grade 2 mares' novices' chase at Cork where the impressive Energumene, notched 22.32 points for 41.3 per cent of stables with victory in the Hilly Way.

In Britain, Edwardstone moved into the top five Ten To Follow horses in backing up his Warwick success with a Grade 1 victory for 30.9 points in the Henry VIII Novices’ Chase at Sandown, while First Flow (38pts) slipped into the top ten after landing the Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon.

There were also notable victories at Aintree for Protektorat (26.9pts) in the Many Clouds Chase and Snow Leopardess (21.7pts), who took the Becher Chase in a photo finish.
