Enable in line for mouthwatering clash with Crystal Ocean at Kempton
Horse of the year Enable could face a stiff task on her eagerly anticipated return from injury on Saturday with King George runner-up Crystal Ocean among her potential rivals.
Ten horses have been entered for 188Bet September Stakes on Tuesday after the race was reopened for 24 hours after failing to receive enough entries on Monday.
Enable has not run since ending an unforgettable 2017 campaign with victory in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe last October having met with a setback in the spring.
She is already prominent in the betting for this year's Arc, but will have to prove she is every bit as good as last year against Crystal Ocean.
The Sir Michael Stoute-trained four-year-old was narrowly beaten by stablemate Poet's Word in Ascot's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes in July.
Enable's owner Khalid Abdullah has two of the other eight entries with Weekender, second in the Ebor, and Finche among the possibilites.
