Derby fifth Hazapour out for the season with plans to return next year
Hazapour, winner of the Group 3 Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at Leopardstown in May before finishing fifth in the Derby, will not race again this season.
Dermot Weld, who trains the Shamardal colt for the Aga Khan, revealed: "Unfortunately Hazapour met with a setback when he ran third in the Group 3 Meld Stakes at Leopardstown last month.

"We've decided against running him again this year and the plan is to race him next season, when he will probably start off in the Mooresbridge Stakes before being aimed at the Tattersalls Gold Cup."
Hazapour, who is related to Derby winner Harzand, who also ran in the colours of the Aga Khan, had entries in the Desmond Stakes and Royal Whip Stakes later this month.
