Australian star Home Affairs will face 26 rivals when he bids to give Chris Waller a clean sweep of the Group 1 sprints at Royal Ascot on Saturday.

Stablemate Nature Strip was an impressive winner of the King's Stand Stakes under James McDonald on Tuesday but was not declared for the Platinum Jubilee Stakes (4.20) four days on, and he is now set to go into quarantine in preparation for the Everest, which he won last year.

Instead, Waller runs Home Affairs, a dual Group 1 winner in Australia including over this 6f trip.

Golden Pal finished last in the King's Stand for Wesley Ward, who will hope to do a lot better this time with Campanelle – his sprinter is on a Royal Ascot hat-trick after wins in the Queen Mary Stakes and then the Commonwealth Cup in the last two years.

Nature Strip was the only horse withdrawn at the final declaration stage for a race in which King's Stand seventh King's Lynn represents the Queen.

Hurricane returns in Hardwicke

St Leger winner Hurricane Lane will take on just seven opponents when he makes his first appearance of the season in the Hardwicke Stakes (3.40).

The Godolphin four-year-old, who also won the Irish Derby last season, will be running for the first time since finishing third in the Prix de l'Arc de Trimphe last October.

Rivals on Saturday include Breeders' Cup Turf second Broome and last month's Chester winner Solid Stone, who will bid to give trainer Sir Michael Stoute a record-extending 12th Hardwicke success.

Fresh makes cut for Wokingham

Ante-post favourite Fresh, trained by James Fanshawe, and Marco Botti's leading fancy Silver Samurai will give backers a run for their money in the Wokingham (5.00).

Three withdrawals at the final declaration stage meant that both made the cut for one of the biggest betting races of the week.

Highly touted Leopardstown winner Alfred Munnings will face 13 rivals when he bids to give Aidan O'Brien his third straight Chesham Stakes (2.30), and his fifth since 2016.

Having withdrawn longtime ante-post favourite Trueshan from the Gold Cup on Thursday due to the quick ground, Alan King declared Britain's top-rated stayer for the Queen Alexandra Stakes (6.10) on Saturday but warned that he would need rain to take his chance.
