Five runners, with 12 Group 1 wins between them, will line up in Wednesday's Juddmonte International Stakes (3.15), the feature on day one of the Ebor festival at York.

Favourite Ghaiyyath will attempt to continue an outstanding season, having won the Coronation Cup before lowering the colours of Enable when scoring in the Eclipse at Sandown.

On Wednesday, he faces a high-quality field including Lord North – impressive winner of the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot – and outstanding mare Magical. All three head to York unbeaten so far this term.

This season's 2,000 Guineas winner Kameko races over 1m2f for the first time for Andrew Balding and Oisin Murphy. The three-year-old was an unlucky fourth in the Sussex Stakes last time and gets 7lb in weight allowances from the favourite.

Musidora Stakes winner Rose Of Kildare completes the line-up. Aspetar was declared before being made a non-runner on Monday evening due to an abnormal blood sample.

The Group 2 Sky Bet Great Voltigeur Stakes (2.45) is another race packed full of quality. Irish Derby runner-up Tiger Moth was a notable absentee, but Aidan O'Brien is represented by Mogul, winner of the Gordon Stakes last time.

The regally bred Darain, brother to Too Darn Hot and So Mi Dar, makes his first start in Group company following two comfortable wins at novice level.

Eight two-year-olds will line up in the Group 3 Tattersalls Acomb Stakes (2.15), although ante-post favourite Fev Rover was not declared by Richard Fahey. Debut winners Cloudbridge, Royal Scimitar and Gear Up are among the leading contenders.

Paul Hanagan will also be in action on the Knavesmire following his recovery from injury. He partners Blue Laureate in the Sky Bet Handicap (3.45).
