Cazoo Oaks latest: 18 left in contention as Andre Fabre scratches 12-1 shot
Agave, who was as short as 12-1 for the Cazoo Oaks, will not head to Epsom having been scratched from the race by trainer Andre Fabre.
The filly, running in the colours of the late Prince Khalid Abdullah, has won twice this season at Saint-Cloud but bumped into Onesto when second in the Prix Greffulhe last week.
She had been well fancied against her own sex in the British Classic but her trainer has opted against a trip to Epsom and will likely continue to campaign her in France.
Cazoo Oaks: latest entries and betting
Fabre, who won the Oaks with Intrepidity in 1993, said: "She’s in very good form. I think she was beaten by a very good colt and that she'd be better with cut in the ground. She will probably stay in France."
A total of 18 runners were left in at Friday's acceptance stage including favourite Emily Upjohn, who enhanced her Classic chances with an impressive win in the Musidora Stakes at York on Wednesday.
Nashwa, who tests her Oaks credentials in the Haras De Bouquetot Fillies' Trial Stakes at Newbury on Saturday, remains among the entries for the John and Thady Gosden team but Inspiral was taken out.
Last year's champion two-year-old filly missed the 1,000 Guineas at the start of the season and her intended target is the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Aidan O'Brien is responsible for six of the fillies left in the Oaks, with Tuesday his best chance according to the betting. Concert Hall, History, The Algarve, Thoughts of June and Toy are also involved.
His son Joseph could saddle Cheshire Oaks runner-up Above The Curve and Tranquil Lady, while Godolphin are also doubly represented with Life Of Dreams and With The Moonlight.
