Last week's small-staking Scoop6 winner Tony Dainty, who won £279,408 from his £2 bet, failed to add the £80,677 bonus fund after his selection in the Betfred Cesarewitch - 13-2 joint-favourite St Michel - faded to finish 17th.

The 49-year-old from Sheffield said: "Despite not landing the bonus, today has been a great experience. I thought we were on for a winner two furlongs out and it was nice to be in with a shout. Still, to win £279,000 from a £2 bet isn't a bad effort!"

The bonus fund now stands at £95,585, while the win fund is at £74,014 after the final tickets for Saturday's bet were knocked out in leg four.
