Last week's horses to follow, including a €340,000 Kodiac filly who won on debut
Among this week's names is a filly going places fast, one who had earned the 'promising' tag when winning on her debut and followed that up with a 'did well in the circumstances' success at York's Ebor meeting.
Members' Club Ultimate subscribers can add the names of the horses mentioned to their Racing Post Horse Tracker and will then receive email alerts when they are entered or declared again.
On their next start, the horses will be flagged in Signposts, which can be found in the Racing Post newspaper or online as part of Members' Club on raceday.

Did well in the circumstances
Haskoy
First, York, August 18
A 'promising' wide-margin all-weather winner on debut, turned in a much-improved display in this much stronger event, despite hanging left (through greenness). She made up plenty of ground and this physically imposing type can take another rise in grade.
Shimmering Sands
First, Leicester. August 18
Is well in front of his mark, as he met all sorts of trouble just past the 2f marker and still won readily.
Get Shirty
Fifth, York, August 20
Is a bit better than the bare facts suggest, given he fared best of those held up. He goes particularly well on soft ground and this versatile sort is capable of winning in Listed (again) or minor Group company.

Eyecatcher
Vega Sicilia
Third, Kempton, August 16
Well beaten on debut in June, caught the eye, dropped in trip on this all-weather debut and first start for a new stable, faring the best of those to come from off the pace. This was a step up on form and, although this wasn't a strong race, he pulled clear of the rest and will likely do better back over 1m2f in handicaps.
Arab Cinder
Fourth, Chelmsford, August 16
Was up in trip on this debut for new connections and finished well after getting outpaced. There's a race in her if she builds on this.
Virgo
Third, Wolverhampton, August 17
Put in an eyecatching effort, running on strongly from an unpromising position in the straight. Regularly campaigned at 1m2f and beyond, he found this just on the sharp side and looks handicapped to score once returning to further.
Mise En Scene
Sixth, Sandown, August 20
Has contested three Group 1s since winning her first two starts as a two-year-old, but given another three-month break since finishing down the field on her return in the Irish 1,000 Guineas. She took an age to get going, but was finishing better than anything outside of the winner and is one to watch out for.
The Penny
Third, Curragh, August 20
Was an eyecatcher under a 10lb claimer. She's now due a handicap mark and looks one to keep in mind.
Lumiere Rock
Fourth, Naas, August 21
The pick of the paddock, she fell out of the stalls on this debut and was playing catch-up the whole way. She was never close enough to challenge but she really got into gear late on. By Saxon Warrior, she has a real middle-distance pedigree and looks to have any amount of potential.
Bonny Power
Sixth, Naas, August 21
Finished nicely after being short of room and is one to keep in mind now that she gets a mark.

Promising
Magical Sunset
First, Windsor, August 15
Wasn't best away on this racecourse debut, but she picked up well when switched to the outside. A €340,000 sister to a 7f-1m winner and a half-sister to two more including Hey Jonesy (Group-placed 6f; RPR 112), this Kodiac filly holds entries in the Mill Reef and Cheveley Park and is worth a go in something better.
Sakheer
Second, Windsor, August 15
Was expected to run a big race on debut according to the market, but was soon up against it following a tardy start from his wide draw and did well to get as close as second to Magical Sunset. A €550,000 half-brother to two winners including Lemista (1m-9.4f including 2yo/Group 2; RPR 107), he holds entries in the Mill Reef and Middle Park and should be a different proposition next time.
