Owner Marwan Koukash has never been afraid of putting his money where his mouth is.

That characteristic is set to be of huge assistance to beleaguered rugby league side Widnes Vikings.

Last week the club went into administration with a fundraising effort quickly put in place to try and raise enough cash to keep the side from going into liquidation.
