Punters taking on the bookmakers at Punchestown
1 of 1

Jumping's stars are coming out to play again this week and Punchestown is the place to be for five days of high-class action.

There are five Cheltenham and Aintree winners doing battle across a card featuring three Grade 1 contests as the Punchestown festival gets off to a flying start.

For Willie Mullins, the week represents a chance to run down Gordon Elliott in the hunt for the trainers' title, with Melon attempting to reverse Cheltenham form with Labaik and Un De Sceaux out to dazzle again.

For punters meanwhile, as well as the Grade 1 races, there is a lot more to get stuck into, with plenty of competitive handicaps at Punchestown, plus meetings at Yarmouth, Hexham, Ludlow, Brighton and Wolverhampton.
