Kelinni back for more as British plan strong raid

There was a strong British presence among the entries unveiled yesterday for the four handicaps on Irish Champions Weekend, and Kelinni could renew rivalry with Withernsea in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Sovereign Path Handicap on Saturday week as last year's 1-2 were among 42 horses engaged for the Leopardstown contest.

There are a total of 52 British-based contenders entered across the four handicaps, which are all worth €150,000, but the Tony Martin-trained Quick Jack, winner of the 2015 Galway Hurdle, is the one who most catches the eye in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Petingo Handicap, having finished third to stablemate Heartbreak City in the Ebor at York.
