Perhaps the key to Craiganboy is his previous start at the end of November when he was second to Eceparti at Wetherby. That marked him down as interesting off a mark of 109 and he only emphasised that despite finishing fourth on his latest run.
In a race that seemed to favour those ridden prominently, Craiganboy was in rear and made a few mistakes to boot before staying on to take fourth. That race was a 0-130 and he can compete at a much lower level. If connections find a suitable 0-110 or 0-115 he should be well up to winning soon.

Mister Whitaker was making a belated seasonal reappearance in the Grade 3 handicap at Cheltenham on New Year's Day but shaped as though he will be making up for lost time before long.
Typically held up in a race where the finished fast by the standards of the track, Mister Whitaker moved smoothly into contention but lacked either the pace or fitness to do any more than plug on for fifth.
Nonetheless, he was beaten less than nine lengths. A horse whose Cheltenham record hardly needs to be spelled out (former festival winner), Mister Whitaker will presumably build up to March and the only question is whether he runs in the Ultima or the Plate. Everything went wrong for him in the former last year and he continues to run as though worth another crack at 3m.

The Colin Tizzard-trained Eldorado Allen hadn't been seen on a racecourse for 392 days before his reappearance at Sandown when he carried top weight in a fiercely contested 2m handicap hurdle.
The lightly raced six-year-old made smooth headway and responded well for pressure before hitting the front after the last alongside the well-treated Nicky Henderson-trained Mill Green.
The pair pulled nine lengths clear of the field before Eldorado Allen tired and finished second, three-quarters of a length behind the winner. I expect him to come on for the run and play a big part in top handicaps before stepping up to open company in the spring.

Harry Fry is in inspired form, boasting a 43 per cent strike-rate from 21 runners in the past fortnight. His fine run continued when Lightly Squeeze hacked up in the closing 2m handicap hurdle at Plumpton on Sunday.
The six-year-old had already been put up 10lb before last weekend's 14-length victory and it wouldn't surprise me if this progressive son of Poet's Voice is still well ahead of the handicapper.
