Keep to the right: Bradstocks plotting fresh course for Gold Cup hero Coneygree

Research in the US has helped lead Mark and Sara Bradstock to the view that going right-handed might be the way forward to protect the fragile limbs of their 2015 Gold Cup hero Coneygree.

The strapping gelding has raced just five times since that famous triumph, when he became the first novice since 1974 to land chasing's most important Grade 1. He has not been seen since being pulled up in the Ladbrokes Trophy in December.
