Josh Moore expressed his delight that brother Jamie was able to ride Baron Alco to victory in the BetVictor Gold Cup at Cheltenham and hailed the team effort required to get the winner back to health.

Moore was forced to watch from the sidelines as Baron Alco had his pursuers strung out across the Gloucestershire countryside in Saturday's feature, despite originally being declared to ride the seven-year-old with his older brother on stablemate Benatar.

But with neither Josh, who suffered a fall on Friday, nor Benatar at 100 per cent come Saturday morning, it was Jamie Moore who switched for what proved to be the winning ride for father Gary.
