A son of the legendary Japanese Triple Crown winner Deep Impact, this impressive physical specimen was Japan's champion two-year-old last term, unbeaten in three starts culminating in an emphatic three-and-a-half-length-victory in the Asahi Hai Futurity, the nation's foremost juvenile contest. Made a winning return with comfortable success over fellow unbeaten three-year-old Wagnerian in his Classic trial in March, he will go to the Satsuki Sho (2,000 Guineas) as a hot favourite; who knows what could be further down the line? Looks a superstar in the making.
