Ivan Grozny will attempt to continue the fine recent record of Irish trainers in Saturday's Betfred Ebor as the ante-post favourite featured among a maximum field of 20 on Thursday.

A 14-length winner over the Ebor distance at Galway last time, the Willie Mullins-trained six-year-old has a 4lb penalty for that victory and bids to give his trainer another win in the race after Sesenta in 2009.

At the draw ceremony Ivan Grozny received stall 21, which is not a bad berth judged on recent history. Only last year's winner Litigant has won from a single-figure stall in the last nine years.
