ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the five races on ITV4
1.15 Cheltenham
Cheltenham & South-West Racing Club Novices' Limited Handicap Chase
This contest replaces the race the Bangor contest that was due to be broadcast and looks competitive enough despite only four going to post. The Nicky Henderson-trained Mister Coffey is still a maiden over fences but ran in some top races last season and we may not have seen the best of him yet.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: MISTER COFFEY
Good first season over fences despite not winning; retains significant potential
Roberts Electrical & Mechanical Services Mares' Handicap Chase, 2m4½f
Marta Des Mottes was unlucky to bump into a smart one at Chepstow last time but could return to winning ways, having bolted up on her first start over fences at Southwell last month.
Hawthorn Cottage bids to back up an impressive success at Warwick at the track she won a bumper at in 2018. Electric Annie and Gazette Bourgeoise were both second on their chasing debuts and bid to go one better here.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: HER INDOORS
Defied a 4lb higher mark over hurdles here two seasons back; one to consider
2.25 Cheltenham
Dahlbury Handicap Chase (Premier Handicap), 3m2f
Topweight Commodore won this feature contest on his seasonal reappearance last year and attempts to repeat the feat off a 9lb higher mark.
April's course-and-distance winner Captain Cattistock and Grimthorpe Chase scorer Undersupervision will provide stiff opposition, while Paddy Power Gold Cup sixth Nassalam is interesting stepping up in trip.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: UNDERSUPERVISION
Two pieces of strong form here as a novice chaser last season; remains of interest
3.00 Cheltenham
Catesby Estates Handicap Hurdle, 2m1f
Mullenbeg won a Listed bumper here in January and after taking a couple of runs to adjust to hurdling, bids for a four-timer under a penalty.
Punctuation arrives in similar brilliant form while Anyharminasking, who downed Constitution Hill in his point-to-point, needs to prove he can compete of his current mark. Last year's winner Lively Citizen is also back for more.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: MULLENBEG
Progressive mare who is seeking a four-timer; won Listed bumper here last term; respected
3.35 Cheltenham
Citipost Handicap Hurdle, 3m
Classy chaser Dusart contests his first handicap hurdle and is the choice of Nicky Henderson's stable jockey Nico de Boinville, with the yard also represented by Captain Morgs.
Annual Invictus successfully reverted to hurdles with a front-running course-and-distance success at the November meeting, while Uhtred has contested in Grade 2s on his last two starts and is interesting dropping down to handicap company for Dan Skelton.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: CAPTAIN MORGS
Gives the impression he's worth a crack at this new trip; the headgear may also help
