ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the five ITV races on Wednesday
1.50 York
Sky Bet And Symphony Group Handicap, 5½f
Dakota Gold is the joint most successful horse at York and the course specialist could make it third time lucky after close seconds on his last two starts. Dusky Lord has been put only up 1lb for being beaten half a length at Glorious Goodwood and could be dangerous from the bottom of the weights.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: ATALIS BAY
Hinted at a return to form at Goodwood last time; interesting off a workable mark
2.25 York
Tattersalls Acomb Stakes (Group 3), 7f
Local Dynasty won his Newmarket maiden well at the start of the month with Hectic, Oviedo and Shaquille also looking to build on debut wins. Jane Chapple-Hyam's Mill Stream was unlucky to bump into the Gimcrack favourite last time out and could get back to winning ways.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: CHALDEAN
Frankel colt who won latest Newbury start; the form has worked out well; highly respected
3.00 York
Sky Bet Great Voltigeur Stakes (Group 2), 1m4f
Secret State beat Deauville Legend at Royal Ascot and bids to complete a five-timer, stepping up to Group company for the first time. Charlie Appleby also saddles Walk Of Stars who, unlike his stablemate, was beaten by the James Ferguson-trained Deauville Legend last month. Ferguson also runs Group 1 winner El Bodegon.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: AIKHAL
Asserted well in Group 3 at the Curragh (upped to 1m2f) latest; plenty of promise for 1m4f
Juddmonte International Stakes (Group 1), 1m2½f
Baaeed steps up in distance for the first time as he attempts to extend his flawless record to ten races in what would be a sixth successive Group 1 win. Baaeed's trainer William Haggas also runs Dubai Honour. Last year's winner Mishriff and Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Native Trail are the biggest threats to the Shadwell-owned colt's unbeaten run.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: BAAEED
9-9, all 1m, in Group 1s last five runs; there can be optimism today's trip will be fine
4.10 York
Sky Bet Stayers Handicap, 2m½f
Course-and-distance winner Master Milliner could complete a hat-trick for jumps trainer Emma Lavelle and to confirm last month's Goodwood form with Zoffee. Themaxwecan aims to follow up his Shergar Cup win.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: SOAPY STEVENS
Going from strength to strength; may have more to offer at 2m, having won his only attempt
