Walk Of Stars is well respected and deserves his chance, but Masekela is the one to beat. He finished well when fourth in the Cazoo Derby and runner-up in the Superlative Stakes at this meeting last year. Al Qareem and Deauville Legend have produced consistent form and should not be ruled out.

This has the potential to be a classic between Persian Force and Little Big Bear, who showed his ability when taking the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot. Persian Force was an unlucky second in the Coventry Stakes and his trainer Richard Hannon has won this race three times, including with Lusail last season.

William Haggas has decided to drop Razeyna to six furlongs after a couple of near misses over longer trips. Her only win came at Newbury in April and she takes on Monica, an impressive course-and-distance winner last month.
