It's set to be a wet Saturday across Britain with Lingfield, Haydock and Ascot among tracks braced for a deluge.

Lingfield's turf meeting features the course's Derby and Oaks trials and 5-10mm of rain is forecast on raceday morning. The going on Friday was described as good, good to soft in places.

The going at Haydock, hosting the mixed-code Swinton Hurdle card, is soft on the Flat course and good to soft, good in places on the jumps course with around 10mm of rain expected during Saturday.

Kirkland Tellwright, clerk of the course at Haydock, said: "It's going to be a wet one I think. We're expecting rain steadily through the day. The going is soft on the Flat course but will only go one way with the rain, while the jumps course has a bit more up its sleeve and is good to soft, good in places. I envisage it at the very least going to good to soft and we could get around 10mm."

It is good to soft, soft in places on the round course at Ascot and good to soft on the straight course with the potential for 12-13mm of rain on raceday for the Victoria Cup fixture.

There could be up to 15mm of rain at Nottingham, where the going is good to soft and the highlight is the Listed Kilvington Stakes.
