'It's been a long road' - Jonathan Moore eyes comeback after six-month absence

Grade 1-winning jockey Jonathan Moore is excited to be nearing a return to race-riding after almost six months sidelined with a back injury.

A heavy fall from Foxy Jacks over Aintree's Grand National fences in the Topham Chase has kept Moore out of action since April 8, but the 28-year-old jockey has been given the green light to return.

"The injury is fully healed, so hopefully I'll be back race-riding again in the next week or two," said Moore.
