Guineas star Churchill goes odds-on for Irish Champion Stakes
Punters reportedly believe dual Guineas winner Churchill will return to winning ways in Saturday's Qipco Irish Champion Stakes, with Aidan O'Brien's three-year-old now odds-on with several firms – although he can still be backed at even-money with bet365, Sky Bet and Betfair.
The latest superstar son of Galileo has not won since his two-and-a-half-length romp in the Irish Classic back in May – finishing a four-and-a-half-length fourth in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot and then trailing only Ulysses by two lengths in last month's Juddmonte International.

"Sunday morning is normally quiet in the trading room, but there have been three big moves, with Churchill the biggest gamble of the three," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams, who also reported the firm had cut Rhododendron to 7-1 (from 10) for the Matron Stakes.
Gun Runner's impressive success in the Grade 1 Woodward Stakes resulted in the firm scything his odds for the Breeders' Cup Classic to 7-4 (from 4).
Churchill's odds could crash again on Tuesday should O'Brien decide not to leave his main market rival Highland Reel in the race – for which he is responsible for ten possibles – as the six-time Group 1 winner is the only other horse in the betting at a single-figure price at 7-1.
O'Brien is 6-4 with Ladbrokes to train four or five winners on Irish Champions Weekend.
