Willie Mullins blown away by 'extraordinary' Breeders' Cup reaction as he plots more international riches for Ethical Diamond

Willie Mullins has described the reaction to Ethical Diamond's dazzling success at the Breeders' Cup as "absolutely extraordinary" and the unstoppable trainer now has eyes for Dubai where the Sheema Classic is being lined up as the five-year-old's next appearance.
The record-breaking jumps trainer had never had a runner at the Breeders' Cup before, never mind a winner, but he could not have made a bigger entrance at Del Mar as 28-1 outsider Ethical Diamond stormed home under new Irish champion jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle to beat the globetrotting star Rebel's Romance in what was billed as a top-class renewal of the Turf.
Ethical Diamond has come a very long way in a short space of time. The same horse who was beaten seven lengths into seventh by Cracking Rhapsody in the Scottish Champion Hurdle at Ayr in April has now been successful at Royal Ascot, won an Ebor and conquered the Breeders' Cup. Mullins, however, is mindful not to overdo it and is keen to give him break before preparing him for Dubai next spring.
