'It's just a privilege to watch him' - Galopin Des Champs owners still on cloud nine after Irish Gold Cup exhibition

Owners Audrey and Greg Turley said they are still on cloud nine after the reception Galopin Des Champs received from his adoring public at Leopardstown on Saturday following his third Irish Gold Cup triumph.
In thundering to a four-and-three-quarter-length victory over Grangeclare West, Galopin Des Champs emulated the likes of Jodami, Florida Pearl and Beef Or Salmon and further endeared himself to racing fans in Ireland and Britain.
There were special scenes in the winner's enclosure as he was serenaded by racegoers who got the opportunity to give the prolific chaser a pat as his groom Adam Connolly brought him over to bask in the praise.
