'I'm very happy with him' - Aidan O'Brien on Kyprios, Lake Victoria and the Ballydoyle buzz horse whose name has changed

Aidan O'Brien has given Kyprios the thumbs up to return in the Bar One Racing Vintage Crop Stakes at Navan on Saturday and also revealed star filly Lake Victoria could make it to the Betfred 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket on Sunday week.
Kyprios has been king of the stayers for the last few seasons and is 11-8 with Paddy Power to win his third Gold Cup at Royal Ascot in June. His path to the staying showpiece will begin as usual in the Navan Listed event, which he won in his Gold Cup-winning seasons of 2022 and 2024.
O'Brien said: "The plan at the moment is for Kyprios to run on Saturday. It's a nice starting point for him and I've been very happy with him over the last few weeks. He's ready to start now.
