Patrick Mullins has hailed He's On Fire as "pretty breathtaking" and is already bubbling with excitement about the prospect of seeing him over fences next season, but Rich Ricci's next potential star could test himself at Grade 1 level before then at the Punchestown festival next week. 

He's On Fire is vying for favouritism with his Cheltenham Festival-winning stablemate King Rasko Grey for the Alanna Homes Champion Novice Hurdle over 2m4f on Friday week following his dazzling dozen-length victory in a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse over Easter. 

Mullins was in the saddle for He's On Fire's stable debut in mid-February when he won a maiden hurdle at Carlisle by 20 lengths and he is convinced the future is extremely bright for the exciting five-year-old, who is already rated 148 after just two starts for the Closutton stable.
