There are not many British or Irish jockeys in better form than 5lb claimer Michael Kenneally, who has partnered seven winners from his last 11 rides and is thriving during his second attempt at a career in the saddle.
Kenneally had his first ride as a professional jumps jockey in December 2023 and celebrated his first winner on Pebble Bleu for Colin Motherway in October of the following year. Since then, his career has taken off in phenomenal fashion.
Cousin Kate gave him his 21st winner of the season on the biggest stage of them all on Sunday when Kenneally steered her to success in the opening race of the Dublin Racing Festival and he then rode five winners on the bounce, with a treble at Fairyhouse on Tuesday and a double at Punchestown on Wednesday.
