William Jarvis bids to bag Bahrain bonus on final day of inaugural Turf Series
William Jarvis expects to scoop a £25,000 bonus in Bahrain on Friday regardless of where Arqoob finishes in the Vision 2030 Cup (12.45), which is one of two races on the final day of the inaugural Bahrain Turf Series.
The 1m2f contest is the last of ten handicap races staged as part of the series, which began in December, with points accrued into a league table, and Arqoob is top of pot B (1m1f-1m2f division).
In his finale, Arqoob takes on ten rivals including Godolphin runner Tamborrada, who is one of two Charlie Appleby-trained runners at the meeting.

Jarvis said of the £50,000 contest: "Arqoob has a good draw and has trained well up to the race. He has a different jockey than usual in the shape of David Egan, who knows the track well.
"He's in a strong position to win the bonus of £25,000, which is very welcome as most of his main rivals in the league table are not in the race."
Appleby said of Tamborrada: "He has a nice profile and while he is coming off a long layoff his preparation has gone very well. It has always been the plan to bring him for this race.
"We feel that ten furlongs is fine for him and in time he will step up in trip. He is fresh and well for a race that we have targeted for some time now."
Appleby also fields Silent Film, a winner last time out at Meydan, in the seven-furlong Al Sakhir Cup (12.15), which features plenty of international runners including Urgent Appeal, who is trained by Simon and Ed Crisford.

Appleby added: "Silent Film has got a nice progressive profile and we feel the conditions of the race will be suited to him off the back of how he has come out of his race in Dubai. We are confident he will be a big player on Friday."
Of Urgent Appeal, Ed Crisford said: "We were looking for a horse to run in Bahrain. He ran over 6f in Dubai, which was a bit sharp for him, so this race suits Urgent Appeal perfectly. He had been winning over this trip in France so we are bringing him from Dubai to take his chances.
"He is in great form and should run well in what looks to be another very competitive race."
