Triple Crown star Justify remains joint fourth alongside stablemate West Coast in the latest Longines World’s Best Racehorse Rankings, which are topped by Australian supermare Winx.

Winx, back in training with Chris Waller this week, leads the retired Pegasus World Cup scorer Gun Runner and Coronation Cup winner Cracksman, who on Thursday was backed into 4-6 (from 4-5) for the Prince of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot on Wednesday.

The rankings are based on a horse’s best performance in the calendar year. Bob Baffert’s stars American Pharoah and two-time winner Arrogate topped the charts in the past three years.

Godolphin's Duke of York Stakes winner Harry Angel is up to joint tenth alongside another Godolphin star Hawkbill.

Derby hero Masar is ranked joint 13th with sprinter Redkirk Warrior, Epsom fourth Saxon Warrior and Osaka Hai winner Suave Richard.

Crystal Ocean, successful in the Al Rayyan Stakes at Newbury last month, has been introduced into the standings and is one of nine horses sharing the joint 19th spot.

The next edition of the rankings will be released on July 12.
