Mullins and Walsh hoping for better luck with Alelchi Inois

Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh will bid for for more Grade 1 chase glory in Italy on Sunday when Alelchi Inois lines up for the Gran Premiero Merano Alto Adige at Merano.

The pair will hoping for better fortune in the contest than 12 months ago when their representative Perfect Gentleman was in touch and going well enough until coming down at the 18th fence.

Mullins said: “We’ve had this race in mind for Alelchi Inois for some time. Good ground will suit and Ruby is happy that the fences will be fine. If he produces his best form he should be right in the mix.”
