Hong Kong's leading rider Joao Moreira has been booked to partner Ken Condon's stable star Success Days in next month's Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick, where he will take on the mighty Winx.

Success Days, a Group 2 winner who finished a close second to Melbourne Cup runner-up Johannes Vermeer at the Curragh last year, has arrived in Sydney in good form according to groom Stephen McCarthy.

“It was a long trip but he took it well,” McCarthy told Racing NSW.

“He lost 10-12kg which is kind of the norm. He's putting it back on quickly and by the weekend he should be back to where he was.”

"He spent 16 days in Newmarket before he travelled and he hadn't seen another horse until he arrived here.”

The son of Jeremy has not won at the highest level but finished third in the 2016 Tattersalls Gold Cup and won the Group 2 Sky Bet York Stakes last season.

Success Days is a 33-1 shot with Bet365 to topple Chris Waller’s record-breaking mare who won her 17th Group 1 last week in the George Ryder Stakes.
