Jimmy Two Times too good for Lambourn raider Jallota
Jimmy Two Times, who has bumped into Commonwealth Cup heroine Quiet Reflection and Coral-Eclipse runner-up The Gurkha this term, gained his most-important victory on Saturday when nipping away from the Charlie Hills-trained Jallota in the Group 3 Prix de la Porte Maillot at Deauville.
Hills had considered supplementing the classy Dutch Connection for the seven-furlong contest, but chose instead to add the Fitri Hay-owned Jallota, reasoning his lofty mark would make things difficult for him in the valuable handicaps he regularly contests.
