Staging the Arc at Chantilly may have presented certain logistical challenges for the organisers but for racegoers the move from Longchamp should be seen as an opportunity, not a deterrent.

Where is it and how do I get there?
Staying in Paris remains by far the simplest option. Chantilly is 50km north-east of the capital and easily accessible by train from the Gare du Nord, just a few platforms along from the Eurostar terminus. Trains take just over 20 minutes and France Galop are putting on five Arc specials in addition to the regular service. There will be shuttle buses between the track and the station, a journey that is also only 10 minutes on foot.

What if I want to fly or drive from the Channel Tunnel/Ports?Chantilly is two and a half hours drive from Calais on the A1 motorway. Your raceday ticket will determine which exit you take from the A1 motorway: take exits 8 or 9 for the infield and exit 7 for the grandstand side. Charles de Gaulle Airport is 30 minutes away by taxi (there is no connecting train service to Chantilly), while Beauvais is 40 minutes north.
