David Elsworth and Ryan Moore teamed up to win a valuable handicap at Glorious Goodwood and on Tuesday combine again at Deauville, where the sport's top rider takes over on Sandown Listed winner Tisbutadream in the Group 3 Prix de Lieurey.

According to Racing Post Ratings, Tisbutadream, who represents Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, was 3lb better when third last time at Ascot than she had been when winning at Sandown. Elsworth concurs with that assessment.

"We enter into the confrontation with a degree of confidence," he said.

"Although she won at Sandown I thought the form of that Listed race was quite moderate, whereas the Listed race she finished third in at Ascot was more like a Group 3 in disguise, so I think she ran better at Ascot than Sandown. She therefore appears to be going the right way.

"Her sire, Dream Ahead, also had his first Group 1 winner at Deauville on Sunday, which is nice for her future as a broodmare. The commercial considerations of this business are quite important."

Andre Fabre has two considerations in the Lieurey, namely Esquisse and Lady Frankel.

Fabre said: "Esquisse won very well last time and showed good acceleration. She seems to be developing really well. Lady Frankel is a lovely mover but she's a bit weak. I'm not sure she's 100 per cent yet."

Denaar, Reflect Alexander and Pursuing The Dream give Britain three shots at the Prix de la Vallee d'Auge, a Listed sprint for juveniles.

Reflect Alexander's trainer David Evans said: "The owner was keen to run and try to get some black type. She's already finished fourth in a Listed race and I think she'll run well again.

"She'll either handle the very soft ground or she won't. It will be a yes or a no, but I think she might."
