Doyle and Bob Le Beau combine again for Grade 1
Saratoga: A. P. Smithwick Memorial Steeplechase (Grade 1) 2m½f, 4yo+
Jack Doyle landed another big jumping prize aboard Bob Le Beau on Thursday when he came from last to first on the Elizabeth Voss-trained nine-year-old.
The pair have established a great rapport, winning the Lonesome Glory and New York Turf Writers Cup, and can now add this $125,000 race to their haul, having finished fourth in it 12 months ago.
