Identity Thief could visit Cheltenham for Arkle Trial
Identity Thief could not have got his chasing career off to a brighter start when winning by 14 lengths at Punchestown on Saturday and yesterday, trainer Henry de Bromhead was weighing up potential targets for the exciting six-year-old.
"He seems in good from since the weekend. I was happy with how he jumped," he said.
"There are a few races coming, the Racing Post [Grade 2 Arkle Trial] at Cheltenham and the Craddockstown are the obvious targets.
"I haven't spoke to the O'Leary's yet, but I'd imagine one of those will be the agenda."
After Identity Thief's foot-perfect performance, he was cut to a best-priced 10-1 for the Racing Post Arkle at the festival.
Gigginstown and De Bromhead also team up with Valseur Lido, who joined the Waterford-based trainer from Willie Mullins', is on course for the JNWine Grade 1 chase at Down Royal on the 5th of November.
