'I know she's a stayer' - Dan Skelton confident of another big Saturday

Dan Skelton is confident that Cheltenham Festival prospect Galia Des Liteaux can deliver over three miles and return to her best in Saturday's Hampton Novices' Chase at Warwick (1.50).

The seven-year-old mare was pulled up behind Thyme Hill in the Grade 1 Kauto Star Novices' Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day, with jockey Harry Skelton claiming that she lost confidence in her jumping after an error at the second fence.

"I’m happy with her and she’ll go there with a fair chance because I know this mare is a stayer and I’m not worried about three miles – I think it’s a positive for her," the trainer said.
